Your Campervan Hire From Start to Finish
Below is an outline of how to reserve your dates. How you can make payment and details of the campervan collection and return arrangements.
Select the Preferred Dates for Your Campervan Trip
Select the preferred dates for your campervan hire from the calendar on any of the individual campervan pages.
The cost of your hire will be displayed below the calendar. Please note that there is a minimum hire period of 3 days (2 nights) for any booking.
Then select any of the optional extras you may require and the total cost of your booking will appear below the optional extras.
Reserving Your Campervan Hire Dates
Once you have selected your dates and any optional extras, click the ‘Book Now’ button. You will then see a breakdown of the dates and costs of your booking.
When you’re happy with the costs and dates of your booking, you should click the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button.
At the Checkout page you will be asked to pay a 25% deposit to secure your dates. Fill in your billing details and select the payment method (credit card / PayPal) and click the ‘Place Order’ button.
Once we have received your successful order, you will get email confirmation of your booking, detailing the deposit paid and the remaining balance (second payment). We request the remaining balance 4 weeks before travel.
Campervan Driver Details
Within 24 hours of receiving your order, we will email you a booking form to complete with your driver and personal details. The form is in Microsoft Word format and should be filled in electronically and emailed back to us as soon as possible.
The Remaining Balance of Your Booking
We will be in touch via email approximately 4 weeks before the date of travel, to remind you about the remaining balance and provide our bank details to transfer the balance.
A day or two before your date of travel we will be in touch via text message, with details of how to find us and a reminder of the documentation you will need to bring with you. This also gives you a mobile contact number should you need to get in touch during your trip. Documents you will need to bring for collection are as follows:
- Proof of address
- Driving licence
- Credit/debit card for the security deposit
- NI number for the DVLA checks required by our insurance
On the day of travel you can collect your camper any time after 10.30am. There is ample, free off road parking for your own vehicle during the duration of your trip.
Before we show you round your camper, we will carry out the DVLA checks, take copies of your licence and proof of address and take a £750 refundable security deposit via credit/debit card.
You will then be given a detailed demonstration of how everything in the campervan works.
The whole campervan collection process will take approximately 40 minutes, so please make sure you take this into account when planning your journey.
You are then ready to pack the camper with your belongings and head off on your campervan adventure.
Returns are any time before 6pm on the last date of your booking. We ask that you text us an approximate ETA when you know one so we can be sure your own vehicle is ready and waiting for you when you arrive back with the camper.
There is nothing to sign when you return the camper and you can be on your way as quickly as you can unload.
Once we have given the camper a thorough inspection, we will refund your security deposit the next working day.
When we have returned your deposit, we will send an email to confirm this and, depending on weekends and bank holidays, the funds will be received back on your account within 5-7 days.
